Overview
Upscayl Desktop uses models such as Real-ESRGAN to infer detail while enlarging low-resolution images. Versions support multiple operating systems, but processing requires a Vulkan-compatible GPU rather than a normal CPU or many integrated GPUs. It is distinct from the separate cloud product and runs on the user’s hardware.
