Overview
smolagents is Hugging Face’s agent library. CodeAgent expresses task actions as executable code to combine tools and process results, alongside other tool-calling options. Developers select models, register tools and configure execution, using Hub resources and MCP connections. Supported sandbox environments can isolate execution, but activation and permissions require deployment configuration.
