promptfoo runs prompts or models against configured test cases and compares outputs, assertions and scores. Red teaming explores application risks under selected inputs; CI/CD repeats checks on changes and code scanning examines LLM-related issues. Local orchestration does not prevent requests to configured remote providers. Findings depend on test coverage, assertions and models.
