Overview
Open WebUI gives individuals or teams a browser chat interface they can administer themselves. Deploy it, connect Ollama or compatible model APIs, and organize conversations, document knowledge and tools, with configured voice or image features. It is an interface and workspace rather than a separately trained foundation model. Data flows and costs depend on whether connected models run locally, privately or in a third-party cloud.

- Before you start
The current Open WebUI License requires branding retention, with exceptions including at most 50 end users in a rolling 30 days, written permission or a qualifying enterprise license. This is a branding condition, not a deployment user cap. External models and extensions have separate costs and terms.
