Overview
Cline is an open-source coding agent for IDE, terminal and desktop use. It reads project structure, coordinates multi-file changes and checks outcomes through terminal or browser tools. Plan and Act separate discussion from execution; checkpoints and diffs support review and rollback. Project rules, plugins and MCP extend context and tools. Model connections and approval behavior are user-configured.
