## Overview

Tempo uses a codebase as shared context for docs, issues, a design canvas, chat and background agents. Canvas frames preview real routes or React components and visual edits update source; chat runs Claude or Codex in isolated Git worktrees. Messages, GitHub events, issues or schedules can trigger agents that return reviewable artifacts and pull requests. Teams inspect and steer runs in the desktop workspace and approve decisions at human checkpoints.
